Job Description

IoT For All, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leverege and the leading digital publication within the Internet of Things industry, is seeking a dynamic sales and marketing leader to help us accelerate growth, increase revenue, and expand our reach internationally. We believe that knowledge is power and we’re passionate about equipping our readers with everything they need to make educated decisions in the IoT space. 

As a marketing and sales manager at IoT For All, we won't box you into a specific, narrow role. Instead, you will work fluidly and collaboratively with the rest of the organization through all aspects of the business. Start-ups are a fast paced environment, and we want someone who can create and optimize processes, build partnerships and develop sales pipelines, run the editorial calendar and content strategy, and more. We want you to be able to develop strategies and get your hands dirty executing them. As one of the early members at IoT For All, you will have a hand in every aspect of the business, shaping our brand and strategy from the ground up.

Ongoing Responsibilities 

  • Develop a strategic plan to introduce and improve advertising and monetization models
  • Drive execution on new marketing campaigns
  • Live the metrics. You will manage KPIs, A/B test marketing campaigns, evaluate and test acquisition channels and marketing tactics, and more
  • Turn data-driven insights into a comprehensive marketing strategy, with an emphasis on digital acquisition strategies & content publishing (e.g. social, communications, email, media)
  • Drive the digital content strategy and editorial calendar and manage the editorial staff
  • Drive down costs and own marketing budget 
  • Build and manage relationships with IoT companies, influencers, and advertising agencies

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in the digital publishing industry with a technology focus
  • Must be a strategic thinker with broad experience in communications, with demonstrated success in branding, advertising and digital marketing.
  • Efficient and effective and organizational skills, including exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership, credibility, interpersonal and staff development skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in partner, client or account management.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving strategy and leading teams.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable projects for self or direct reports.
  • Media and advertising experience including understanding of and experience in executing monetization models both in the U.S. and globally
  • Ability to maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team atmosphere
  • Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Marketing analytics including Google Analytics and Ads (Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)).
  • Digital marketing including social media, email marketing and content optimization
